For anyone looking to build banking relationships outside the EU banking system with full-service banking, multi-currency accounts and practical access for international transactions.
Those living in Georgia permanently or part-time benefit from comparatively low living costs, short travel times and an environment well suited to location-independent entrepreneurs.
Ideal for anyone who wants strategy, Individual Entrepreneur registration, tax registration, a registered business address, residency, work authorization and banking organized through one coordinated process.
The Georgia Complete Package is particularly suitable for entrepreneurs who want to do more than register a business and build a complete business, residency and tax structure.
We support you in building a coordinated structure in Georgia. The package includes a 30-minute Strategy Call, formation of your Individual Entrepreneur (IE), tax registration with the Revenue Service and the application for Small Business Status.
The package also includes a legal registered business address for 12 months, support with the residence permit and work authorization applications and support with opening a business bank account.
Except for the in-person steps required to obtain your Residency Card, most of the setup can be prepared and completed remotely. Throughout the process, you have one point of contact for organizational and technical questions.
Government fees, notary fees, bank fees and other third-party charges are not included in the package price. Individual legal or tax advice is not part of this service.
The package gives you more than a Georgian business registration. It brings together business, residency and banking in one coordinated structure. Instead of managing several providers and disconnected applications, you are guided through a clear process from the initial Strategy Call to implementation.
You will be supported by German-speaking contacts throughout the process. Together, we establish the foundations for your business in Georgia, apply for Small Business Status, coordinate residency and work authorization, and assist with banking. This allows the individual parts of your structure to work together from the start.
The process starts with a personal strategy call. We review your current situation, answer your questions and determine the right sequence and structure for your plans in Georgia.
We support you from registration as an Individual Entrepreneur through tax registration and the application for Small Business Status. For eligible activities, this status forms the tax basis of your business setup and allows a 1% tax on turnover up to the annual threshold of 500,000 GEL.
Which activities qualify for Small Business Status, which ongoing obligations apply, and how turnover thresholds and VAT are handled are explained in detail on our Georgian business formation page.

A registered address in Georgia provides the shared basis for your business registration and the later issuance of your Residency Card. It is included in the package for the first 12 months and can then be renewed for 300 EUR per year for another 12 months.
Formation and Small Business Status create ongoing tax obligations, including regular turnover filings and timely payment of the tax due.
Ongoing accounting is not included in the Georgia Complete Package. For monthly filings and ongoing tax compliance, you can use our separate accounting service in Georgia.
Once your business has been formed, we support you with the application for work authorization and the related residence permit. We prepare the required documents and coordinate each stage of the process.
For a Work Residence Permit, your business generally needs to demonstrate turnover of at least 50,000 GEL during the preceding 12 consecutive months. The threshold applies for each foreign national for whom a Work Residence Permit is requested.
The initial residence permit is issued for a limited period and may be renewed if the requirements continue to be met. After ten years of temporary residence permits, an application for permanent residence may generally be possible.
Once approved, you apply for the Residency Card as the official proof of your residence status. Its validity reflects the term of your residence permit.
You do not have to navigate the sequence of applications on your own. The package gives you a clear process and dedicated contacts for your business, work authorization and residency.
A Georgian residence permit, registration as an Individual Entrepreneur and Small Business Status do not automatically establish Georgian tax residency. Regular tax residency generally arises only when the statutory requirements are met, particularly through a stay of at least 183 days within the relevant 12-month period.
An exception may be available to qualifying High Net Worth Individuals. Under Georgia’s HNWI procedure, tax residency may be available without 183 days of physical presence if specific wealth, income and investment conditions are met. These currently include, among other requirements, documented assets exceeding 3 million GEL or annual income exceeding 200,000 GEL in each of the previous three years, together with assets in Georgia worth at least 500,000 USD.
Applying for or confirming Georgian tax residency is not included in the package. Contact us if you may qualify under the HNWI procedure.
The personal strategy call is already included in the Georgia Complete Package. If you want to discuss your plans before committing to the full package, you can book the call separately for 200 EUR.
If you subsequently proceed with the Detoxhelden Georgia Complete Package, the 200 EUR call fee is credited in full toward the package price.
The Strategy Call provides strategic orientation and preparation. It does not replace individual legal or tax advice.

Your business, residency, work authorization and banking are prepared and implemented through a clear process.
Any additional documents depend on your nationality, business model, and the requirements of the relevant authorities and banks.
We coordinate your business, residency, work authorization and banking in Georgia through one clear process. The package includes:
A legal registered business address is required to keep your business operating in Georgia. You can renew your existing address service for another 12 months period.
This keeps a valid registered business address in place after the first year without requiring you to find a new provider or manage a transfer yourself.
No. Certain activities and regulated professions are excluded. During the Strategy Call, we conduct an initial review of your business model and flag potential restrictions on Small Business Status.
You can generally still register as an Individual Entrepreneur. However, the preferential 1% tax does not apply unless Small Business Status has been granted. This is why we review your business model during the Strategy Call.
The 1% tax is generally calculated on eligible gross turnover, not profit. Business expenses therefore do not reduce the tax base.
The standard turnover limit is 500,000 GEL per calendar year. Exceeding it may lead to a higher tax rate and, if the threshold is exceeded repeatedly, loss of Small Business Status.
Yes. A Georgian Individual Entrepreneur can generally invoice international clients. Depending on your business model and where the activity is actually performed, additional tax, registration or VAT obligations may still arise in other countries.
Yes. However, having a client abroad does not automatically make the income foreign-source income for tax purposes. Relevant factors include the activity performed, where the services are provided and how the income is classified for tax purposes.
Even a straightforward Small Business setup creates ongoing filing and tax obligations. Whether zero filings are required depends on your registered status and specific circumstances. You can use our separate accounting service for ongoing compliance.
No. A residence permit and tax residency are separate concepts. Holding a Georgian residence permit does not automatically make you a Georgian tax resident. The tax residency requirements must be met separately.
Income that is genuinely not Georgian-source income may generally be exempt from Georgian personal income tax for Georgian tax residents. A foreign client or foreign bank account alone does not make income tax-free foreign-source income.
Residency refers to your legal right to reside in Georgia. The Residency Card is the physical document confirming that status. Tax residency determines where you are treated as resident for tax purposes and is governed by separate rules.
No. Registering as an Individual Entrepreneur does not generally require Georgian tax residency. The Georgia Complete Package combines the business formation with residency, work authorization and banking.
Yes. The Work Residence Permit included in the package requires the necessary authorization or registration to carry out the activity. As a self-employed entrepreneur, you must obtain the required authorization for your own business activity.
No. Registration as an Individual Entrepreneur, the right to work and the residence permit are separate procedures. Support with the work authorization application is included in the package.
No. We prepare the required steps and documents and support you through the process. The relevant authority makes the final decision on work authorization and the residence permit.
Not necessarily. The registered address included in the package can be used for your Individual Entrepreneur and the later issuance of your Residency Card.
We help you prepare and submit the application. The bank makes the final decision following its internal KYC and compliance review.
Yes. A valid registered business address must remain on file to keep your Individual Entrepreneur properly registered and active. The address is included for 12 months and can then be renewed for additional 12-month periods at 300 EUR.
Individual Entrepreneur registration, tax registration, the registered business address and most preparatory work can be organized remotely. Your presence in Georgia is required for the in-person steps required to obtain the Residency Card.
The individual components are completed in stages and have different processing times. The overall timeline depends on factors including the completeness of your documents, government processing, the bank’s review and your in-person appointment in Georgia.
Government residency fees of 560 to 1,300 GEL, notary fees, bank charges and other third-party costs are not included. Any additional services or documents will be agreed with you in advance.
With Detoxhelden, you build your business, residency and banking structure in Georgia correctly from the start, with clear planning, personal support and no unnecessary administrative confusion.
